I'm getting married today!

Since I'm getting married today... this blog post has to be really kick ass! Obviously, The Notebook has to used.

"I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've lead a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough."
-The Notebook

"Well, that's what we do. We fight. You tell me when I'm being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you're being a pain in the ass. Which you are 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a two second rebound rate and you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing. So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. And we're gonna have to work at this every day. But I want to do that, because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day."
-The Notebook

Jacob likes to use this reference with me, for example, "If i'm a rock, then you're a rock." Not quite as romantic, but I'll take it.

"I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life."

-Rita Rudner

"Any intelligent woman who reads the marriage contract, and then goes into it, deserves all the consequences."

-Isadora Duncan

"A husband is what is left of a lover, after the nerve has been extracted."
-Helen Rowland
